  7. This program should work on any Amiga with OS 2.04 or greater and will
  8. use a 640 x 480 AGA multiscan screen if available.  I've also heard
  9. that it works good on a Picasso card and even on a Mac using U.A.E.
  10.  
  11. ProGammon is operating system friendly, it's full of options yet it
  12. remains small and very cpu and memory efficient.
  13.  
  14. If you like backgammon then you will enjoy this program.

  17. Version 2.88:
  18.  
  19.       -a significant rewrite of the board evaluation routine.  It seems
  20.        to do a better job with many complex endgame situations.
  21.        
  22.       -added a couple of  Pip Count  features. 
  23.         
  24.       -a minor fix that forces users to make both moves whenever possible
  25.        while bearing off.

  28. Version 2.86:
  29.  
  30.       -a dozen tool types have been replaced by a new  Game Options 
  31.        window.  
  32.      
  33.       -added an  Acey-Deucey  option so users can play some of the more
  34.        popular versions of this backgammon game.
  35.  
  36.       -the  Start On Bar  option will start the game with 15 stones on 
  37.        the bar.
  38.  
  39.       -the  Doubles Bonus  option will let players have an extra move 
  40.        everytime they roll doubles.
  41.         
  42.       -my opinion on what the best  Opening Moves  are.
  43.           
  44.       -registration info is now displayed in an Amiga style requester.
  45.       
  46.       -the usual minor change or two in game play.
